I always liked this place and brought them all my used appliances. I dropped a tv off and my wife saw an antique tv there and found it interesting and checked it out, unfortunately she later realized that night she had dropped her wallet in the same area as the tv. I later went back and just tried to look for it, and one of the owners went on the intercom started swearing at me and threatening to call the police, as I tried to explain back what I was doing he continued yelling at me and cursing. I can understand from one view point how he could assume I would be up to no good as it was dark, but I made all possible attempts to make it look obvious as to I wasn't there stealing, as I parked my vehicle ACROSS the street, so obviously I had no intentions of filling my vehicle up with any of their scrap, I had my face in full view with no hood or mask as I tried my upmost hardest to make sure I did not look suspicious. I left the property after he said he called the police and then I called and left a message explaining what I was doing, how I felt extremely offended as I've boughten appliances off them and have dropped off more appliances to them then I can count. If he truly thought I was doing something wrong and didn't feel safe coming to me to personally ask if I was doing something wrong, he could have asked over his p.a system instead of having a hissy fit. I heard rumours someone at this business is psychotic with anger management problems and I guess I found him. From now on instead of filling their pockets with free copper, gold, scrap metal etc I'll dissemble everything myself and sell off my scrap metal and I will never buy a second hand appliance from here again. BUYERS BEWARE, ONE WRONG MOVE AND YOULL BE VERBALLY ABUSED.

Called Brenda and Steve to help me with a part, but instead we got the best technical service we could find - Brenda knows her stuff. Followed up with Steve who told me what they excel at, and what they refer out to other excellent sources in Thunder Bay - the honesty was greatly appreciated and I immediately found the fix to my problem based on Steve's recommendation. They are both friendly, professional and do customer service very well - despite the fact they didn't get a sale! But there is always a next time! Bravo!
