"Bye bye brown" is finally coming together. Furniture we selected Portobello Home is stunning! The new window treatments we choose lets in an abundance of light thru north facing windows. Great product and install by Celine Fisk. Next up a new shag area rug and a commissioned piece from artist Matt LeBlanc Art. The print above the fireplace is temporary. I can't wait to see the last pieces of this transformation come together. Most important? LSID is on a mission to replace and upgrade 15 dialysis chairs in our Renal clinic at Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre. The creation of the Greek Supper Club event saw the purchase of our first electronic dialysis chair. Since the new chair was unveiled last week we have had numerous requests from the public as to how they can donate. As of today Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation has established a donation page on their website to support this cause. Please share this link with your friends. Last night a new chair for the renal department was unveiled. On the left you see an existing dialysis chair. On the right, the new ergonomic standard that benefits patients and staff. Monies raised thru our event The Greek Supper Club last year made this purchase possible. Thank you Jean Robillard and the team at Bistro One for supplying our guests with some amazing baklava and Tom Mihaljevic for his kind words. Much gratitude to our sponsors, Chef Peter Minaki, Chef Jean Robillard and the staff of Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Foundation. Amazing things happen when a community comes together!
