About Us
True North Community Co-operative is a non-profit, community-based co-operative aimed at building community resilience in Northern Ontario through a stronger localized economy. The co-operative provides an opportunity for regional producers to market their goods at a fair price and for Northern Ontarians to access quality, regionally produced foods and handcrafts.
The annual membership prices are:
Individual $15
Producer $25
Commercial / Organizational $40

Why Become a Member?
You do not have to be a member to shop, but as a member of True North Community Co-operative, you would be supporting an alternative way of thinking about our food, our economy, and our interconnectedness. As a community co-op, we foster a sense of togetherness, encourage networking, and share knowledge and resources throughout Northern Ontario.
Individual members receive 5% off all goods sold through the co-op as well as a single vote at our annual general meeting.
Producer members receive 5% off all goods sold through the co-op as well as a single vote at our annual general meeting. Additionally, producer members are able to sell their goods through the co-op and receive marketing through the storefront.
Commercial/Organizational members receive 5% off all goods sold through the co-op as well as a single vote at our annual general meeting. This membership allows local businesses and organizations to support regional producers.
