For clarification, there has been some confusing information being circulated regarding access to businesses situated on Fort William First Nation land.
Essential businesses that are still operating during the COVID-19 crisis are still accessible to everyone, and are ready to serve you safely.
As per Chief Peter Collins:
"Any off-reserve customers of these businesses are still able to access these businesses but are urged to complete their business in a safe manner, respecting official health precautions, and to only conduct their business while in our territory. They have been ordered to close their businesses nightly between 8:00p.m. and 6 a.m. by Chief and Council."
